We devised a "quick look" table from which to judge the performance of all our commanders. It is also one way to level the playing field and to give more emphasis only to police activities that could be measured.
We gave corresponding points to index crime occurrence (minus points), index crimes solved (plus points), etc. To compensate for their negative points from the volume of index crimes, our commanders were required to concentrate on: crime solution, arrests of wanted persons/drug pushers, recover more loose firearms, conduct of checkpoints, more police community relations activities, etc. The table is arranged according to score. The high scoring stations are top performers, while the low scoring (Bongabon, Penaranda, Gabaldon, Cabiao and Laur) would need to work a lot harder to compensate. They need to turn out more arrests, confiscation of loose firearms, checkpoints, etc.
