impounded 19 vehicles with 696 Man-hours spent.

From January 23, 2008 to date, NEPPO has orchestrated and catered to the re-registration
of 5,187 motor vehicles in the 32 city/municipal police stations. The re-registration is still
on-going. This effort is in conjunction with section III of RA 6539. In addition to this,
NEPPO has directed all police stations to submit a minimum of ten (10) VIDS every day.
So far, all units concerned have complied with this directive.
