Three (3) COMPSTAT workshops have already been conducted which was attended by all
Chiefs of Police and Investigation and Operations personnel of all Police Stations. Two (2)
desktop computers with ArcView GIS software and data for use of the NEPPO Crime Map and
Analysis Team are already up and running.

NEPPO is in the process of implementing the Anti-Crime Strategy COMPSTAT Province-Wide.
This strategy which was proven to be effective at NYPD and NCRPO is being cascaded down to
all Stations. Intel is spearheading the Training of all Provincial COMPSTAT Organizing Teams
which is housed at the PPO.

Information Technology (IT) PNCOs of police stations have started to draw up their own
COMPSTAT. Last March 14, 2008, Executive Assistant (EA) to the PD conducted SMS /
COMPSTAT Seminar to all Information Technology (IT) PNCOs of police stations. Since the
start of the Project, POPB set up crime data maps which are being sent to PRO-3 on a
monthly basis.
