A honest to goodness campaign against illegal drugs is being conducted province-wide. Out of 849
barangays in the province, only 51 barangays are Drug Affected. A total of 252 Drug Pushers and
Users (129 Pushers & 123 Users) are also listed in BADAC Watch List.

Seminars/Information drives on the ill effects of dangerous drugs are regularly being conducted by
all Police Stations to elementary grade students in their respective areas of responsibility to combat
drug abuse.

All drug enforcement unit personnel are regularly advised of the strict adherence to anti-drug
operational procedures. This includes the filing of pre-ops reports, limiting the time before
operations are reported, confiscated drugs tested and criminal charges filed.

In compliance to the 25% of the strength profile of the office, as per NEPCLO’s records, 333
personnel have complied within the maximum percentage as required and no personnel was found
positive during random drug testing.
